For independent artists
Paste a name, songs, or codes. Find the money sorts them, checks public credits, and opens the royalty read. A clear name match goes straight in. ASCAP ACE still needs a paste on the Works tab, because ACE blocks automated reads.
On-demand DSPs pay the label or distributor. Unclaimed profiles and old accounts leak this.
Interactive streams pay composition owners through The MLC and other mechanical societies.
Public performance of the song: radio, venues, TV, and some DSP reporting to PROs.
Non-interactive radio, SiriusXM, Pandora, and webcasters pay SoundExchange, not Spotify.
Stage name, legal name, songs, and ISRCs can share one paste. The first short line is the name on the record. Tap it if that line is a song.
Paste titles from an ACE or BMI Repertoire writer search. The Works tab marks in-repertory vs missing. The MLC check is live. ASCAP still needs a paste because ACE blocks automated reads.
Copy the registration kit and open Member Access. ASCAP has no public bulk upload for writer members. You file. We do not take a cut.
Spotify already paid someone. Independents miss the slice that never left DistroKid, The MLC, SoundExchange, or a neighboring-rights society because the name or ISRC did not match. ASCAP only pays works you registered.
Latch cannot see your SoundExchange, MLC, BMI, ASCAP, or distributor balance. Exposure is a gap score from public catalog data plus independent leak patterns. Confirm on the official desks.
